Sekai System (世界システム) is a Japanese band that formed in 2009, disbanded in April of 2017 and revived after one year in April of 2018.
Dressed up in black military uniforms and ghastly white makeup, the six of them use all sorts of homemade electronic instruments for a super cool techno sound and all sorts of effects for a captivating stage show. You'll be surprised, but it's not science fiction—all of this is real life!
They have released three albums to date.
Kaizou is the band's frontman. He plays guitar, synthesiser, the laser harp, and does vocals. Also the lightsaber, whatever he can attach a motion sensor to, many other homemade instruments...
He has a solo project named Pauli no Haita Genri (パウリの排他原理), "Pauli Exclusion Principle". Take a listen!
Maki is the band's guitarist. She plays good old Talbo guitars, just like God intended.
(This choice is most likely influenced by Susumu Hirasawa's affinity for those same guitars.)
misopon is the band's bassist. Also appears in Katsudori Gengakudan (霞鳥幻樂団), "Katsudori Illusionary Orchestra", under the name Takeshi.
Jun is on synthesiser. You can't have a picopico band without the synths, after all!
Sho is on synthesiser. Isn't that hair cool...?
Muku Nakamura is on guitar and laser harp. no doubt thanks to some form of Susumu Hirasawa fanaticism.
He also has solo music under the same name. Great stuff!
